Membership
Membership is required to use the studio on a regular basis. To be a member you must have a good knowledge of the type of printmaking that you will want to do, be able to work without tutor support, and use good studio practise. An induction to the studio will be given when you apply for membership and a trial period to allow you to demonstrate your ability to use the studio following the studio guide lines will be put in place.
Membership: £40 per year
Session rates: £10 per 3 hr session, or £15 per day.
Student Concession: 30% off of session rates - £6 per 3 hr session, £10 per day
Recent Postgraduates of Printmaking: 30% off of session rates for up to 2 years
The studio will be open Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm and most Saturdays. Sessions must be booked in advance.
Members will be able to:
Use the workshop and facilities
Join in with opportunities to exhibit at the studio and other venues
Have the opportunity to work alongside other printmakers
10% discount off the price of one studio course per year
Exhibit their work on the studio website www.sussexartandprintmaking.co.uk
Be involved with aspects of the running of the studio if they choose
Courses will run to cover a variety of printmaking processes throughout the year. This year we are fortunate to have two courses starting in the autumn with professional printmakers Paul Wye and Altea Grau Vidal. Please check our website periodically for details of these. Courses can be attended by those without membership.
Friends of the Studio
£50 per year
Would you like to support the studio to help it find the funds to develop and grow? Funds generated from friends will be kept separately to put towards such things as new equipment, exhibitions, and payment for visiting tutors or internships. Your name or logo can be displayed on our publicity and website if desired.
